Bali Trip Day 2

I'm so lazy to edit and collage my photos, so you guys just bear with my really long post kay. :P
My mom and I on the beach in the early morning. =]

My mom, my elder sister and I along our pool just outside our rooms. =]
Saw this at one of the hot spot in Bali, Kuta Town. Thought this could only be found in Shanghai. I wanted to get a ride on this so badly but no one wants to have fun with me. T^T
So this is the Kuta street where all the foreigners go. Obviously it's full with Western, Japanese, Korean cuisines...If you're looking for some Balinese Cuisine, this is definitely NOT the place to go. Nightlife? You got it right babeh! :D
Posing outside a restaurant called Kunyit Bali Restaurant (Authentic Balinese Cuisine it says) where we dined in for dessert after eating our lunch at some small Warung(shop).

The appetizer keropok udang with sambal. Our sweet sweet desserts. Local specialty---Avacado Juice.

I'm acting my age, she's not. 31 still trying to act 18. =.=
The hotel garden behind the restaurant.
This is the famous Kuta Beach with my dad. The wind was freaking strong. Don't believe me? Look at my hair in the next picture. =]
Told you so. :P

Walk around Kuta Beach for a while then the Discovery Mall. After that, we went to Circle K Mart to buy some cup noodles and Bintang Beers to enjoy in our hotel rooms.
I sleep right after I reached my room and refused to wake up so they went off for dinner without me. =/

Heard from my sister it was Bumbu Bali Restaurant. They brought back some leftovers for me and OMFG. It's so freaking sedaaaaaap! But not cheap of course, it costs around RM400++ for 3people! @.@
At the end of the night, Mr. Mah(some guy we met in a shuttle van while going back to our hotel) invited us to finish a whole bottle of Chivas with him at the hotel bar. Yes, I drank too. :D
2 of my favourite pictures for today are these.

Look how happy my mom smiled. 37-years of marriage! No matter how frequent they quarrel, everything will be okay when they hold their hands tight. =] ♥

What I am going to write now is a serious sensitive issue for everyone, yes, including me. First, I want to ask you a question. I'm kind of sure that you love Malaysia, everyone is patriotic is his own way, some just won't realize until they heard someone saying bad stuff about their tanah air. So the question I want to ask now is, do you love our government? Do note that country and government is 2 different thing, at least that's what I think. I love my country, a lot, but not our government.

Had a small argument talk with a friend of mine last night cause we have different opinions about this issue. Yes, I admit that compare to many other South East Asian countries, we're consider as a quite well developing country. But I still think that our government is not doing their best. In this case, I mean equal opportunities.

Our Prime Minister(our government)keep on promoting this 1 Malaysia concept. As we all know, it's to unite the people regardless of our race, religion and culture. But I am so sorry to say that, I can't feel that coming near. I am not being racist here, I do have Malay and Indian friends, like a whole lot of them. But, the government is still over-protecting the Malays and treating us like foreigners that came from China or India a long long time ago. We don't get equal opportunities in most aspects, education, job, hospitality...And sometimes, I've disappointed by the Chinese too. You know what I'm talking about, don't you? ;)

There's no need for me to write more, the rest is up to you to think yourself. What's right or not, depends on how you think. This is just my opinion that I needed to voice out. Sometimes anger just filled your heart when you think about this. But, the good news is, I do have hope in the new generations' Malay.

Let's get our fingers crossed that I won't get locked up by the government after posting this up on my blog, I don't want to be the next Teoh Beng Hock. =/

Bali Trip Day 1

As you all know, I went to Bali and I'm home. So here's my post about my trip. Nothing much during Day Night 1 since we only reached there at night. But here goes, if you insist. =]

Reached the Air Asia Airport at around 5something in the evening since our flight was at around 6, but turned out that our flight was delayed till around 8 because of the bloody heavy rain. Damn right? Ugh. So after the chapalang things, our plane finally lifted at 8.30pm. =.= Didn't take any photos on the plane, was busy taking naps and chit chatting with my sister. So after 2hours and 55minutes, we've finally reached The Bali Island!

Took the airport cab to the Oasis Hotel at Nusa Dua. After our late dinner in the hotel room, straightaway went to bed. We were freaking tired you know. =/

Oh by the way, the hotel wasn't as nice as we've expected. It's bloody expensive and it's not really THAT nice. But overall, not bad larh. The really nice thing about this hotel is, the pool was just right in front of our room, open your window, and you can jump into the pool already. And the beach, was just a stone-throw away from our room. =]

I'm so lazy to blog about my Day 2 now. But I promise soon, stay tuned peeps! You know I love you. ♥ :D

P/s: Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Now where's my angpow? ;)
